If I could confront anyone from my past, it would be my dad. I would tell him not to make us move from our home when I was 6. I had the life and he made us get up and leave everything behind. My neighbors were my best friends and my school was very nice. We moved to a place where I had no neighbors and since I didn’t like change, the kids at my new school saw me scared and crying and it was hard to make friends. I would love to go back and tell my dad to let us live the life we all loved at the time.

One thing I miss as a kid is being carefree. I miss those days where I would wake up and go play with my friends and our only worry was what our moms were going to make for dinner. These days, I worry about money, work, friends and family. As a kid, life was simple and easy. I miss being able to just go to my neighbor’s house and walking right in because they were like my second family. Today, I don’t really know my neighbors and have lost some close friends to relationships and work. Things were so much simpler as a kid and I wish I could go back.

My goals in life are pretty ordinary in my opinion. I want to get a great job in the Psychology field and get married. Above all, I want to be a mother. I have always wanted to be a mother and I absolutely cannot wait until the time is right to be one. I also really would like to travel the world. I have not really met any yet because I am still waiting for the right time. I have travelled to a few countries though which is part of my goal to travel the world. I am very confident I will meet most, if not all, of my goals.

If I could relive the last five years of my life, I would change so much. I would volunteer for more things and reach higher for better job opportunities. I also would try to get more into a sport like basketball or tennis to stay active. In addition, I would try to be more outgoing and make new friends. One important thing I would do is see a psychologist. The last five years haven’t been that great and I could have really used some help and someone to talk to. If I could do it all again, I would definitely change many things.

If I had 2 weeks to live, I think my only regrets would be that I was always so shy and timid. I never really tried new things or would strike up conversations with strangers even if I really wanted to. I haven’t done anything about these regrets because my shyness is still controlling my life. For my last 2 weeks, I would probably use all my money to travel the world. I have been to some countries in Europe, but I would love to visit many more countries and continents. I just want to see the world as much as I can before I die.

If I could change something about my home, I would probably add in either a pool or hot tub or both. The last house I was in had a nice pool but I had to move and now I have no pool whatsoever. If I had a pool and a hot tub, I could keep cool in the summer with the pool and stay warm in the winter with the hot tub. I love being in water and even though I am not a great swimmer, I always know how to have fun with water.

When I am most bored, I like to go outside and try to be active. I would like to get in better shape and I really enjoy being outside. Most times, I go on a trail near my house and walk my dogs or ride my bike. This is also a great opportunity to meet other people who enjoy the same things. I really like that because I am pretty shy and it is rather hard for me to make friends. By going on this trail, I get rid of my boredom and I get to meet new people and get exercise and some nice fresh air.

People are inspired by many things. One thing that inspires me is my grandfather. One day he went to the doctor’s office with a minor pain. Shortly after he was flown to a hospital by helicopter and had to undergo a heart surgery where he had a stroke during it. He was told he had a 1% chance of living. After many months, he is now able to eat solid foods, talk and is learning to walk. His survival through the small chance gives me hope. It inspires me to never take a single day of life for granted.

My favorite invention in all of history is the invention of the telephone. It has helped people who do not live near each other stay in touch. The more it has improved over the years, the more I like it. I really enjoy texting multiple people and being able to stay connected to friends and family who live out of the area. Telephones allow me and others to stay in touch with people even out of the country. I have friends who visit Europe from time to time and some phones allow us to communicate over the great distances.
